News from Sam’s Dad

Posted by stuff4sam on December 6, 2006

Things have been busy recently. After a few days in hospital for routine monitoring (which was horrible for us but Sam seemed to enjoy himself (!)) , we went down to Devon to a children’s hospice for a few days. It was a bit of a military operation to move Sam and his equipment but really worth it to get some sea air!

Sam is so so well at the moment which I absolutely put it down to him exercising using the bike. We are just thrilled that he is so well. He just seems more alert and energetic than ever. The last cycle he did was on Saturday and he did 2.8 miles. The people monitoring Sam say he is doing really really well – so everything is looking brilliant.

The buggy and bike are the two pieces of equipment that have helped Sam so so much. It has meant him freedom to be mobile and given back his health. We can’t believe you have done so much for him and still want to do more. You really have to understand how much this means to us.
